The Mid-Atlantic New Painting Biennial at the University of Mary Washington Galleries began in 1997. It highlights new developments in painting within our region and is open to artists 18 years of age and older currently living in Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia.

The MANP 2024 juror is Heather Hakimzadeh, Senior Curator and Special Projects Manager at Virginia MOCA.
